Wedding officiant

I’ll make your dream day come true.

I will guide you through your wedding ceremony with warmth, sensitivity, and respect.
As a profound, communal experience, it will draw in not only the two of you, but also your loved ones. I am the one who holds this moment together and gives it shape.

Your vision will blend with my experience.
My unique approach will create a truly beautiful moment for you.

If you want a beautiful, personal ceremony but don’t want to plan it yourself, you can leave it to me. There’s only one thing that matters: you have complete freedom to make your ceremony look exactly the way you envision it. No delays or red tape—just the two of you, hand in hand. It’s a unique opportunity to experience that moment of closeness surrounded by friends.
You can approach it traditionally, poetically, humorously, or intimately—any tone is right as long as it’s yours.
Now you know that the location, time, and style of the ceremony don’t matter. I’ll come to you wherever you are.

A common practice around the world, but still a new phenomenon here. A ceremony that takes the form of a wedding but doesn’t require official recognition.
It’s guided solely by your vision of what your day should look like. You can handle the legal formalities with two witnesses at the registry office—feel free to do it another time, in just ten minutes. The ceremony then belongs entirely to you.

What is a symbolic ceremony?

Options for ceremonies

Písek connection

The Sand Ritual is a symbolic element that will add deeper meaning to your wedding ceremony. This simple yet deeply emotional moment is ideal for couples who want to express their bond through something tangible and visually beautiful.

You can choose one color of sand. During the ritual, you both pour your sand into a single container one after the other. The colors will begin to blend, creating a unique pattern that will never be repeated. It is a gentle metaphor for what is happening in your relationship: two worlds coming together to form a single story.

A sand ritual is a beautiful way to create your own intimate moment during the ceremony—a moment that symbolizes your vows, your shared journey, and the strong bond that is being formed right before everyone’s eyes. The container of sand can then serve as a lasting memento of the day you joined your lives together.

Wedding Ceremony

Ribbon

Involving your loved ones in the ceremony is a beautiful way to make them feel like they’re truly a part of your special day. A ribbon ritual is perfect for this—we’ll select a few colorful ribbons that can symbolize the elements or the wishes your loved ones want to convey to you. As they wrap the ribbon around your wrist, the guest will say a few words, adding their own touch to your story.

The Candle of Unity

This symbolic candle ceremony beautifully unites the creation of a new family while respecting who each of you is. The bride and groom hold their own candles and together light a third one—the one that represents their shared journey. All three candles then remain lit as a reminder that unity does not mean a loss of individuality. Parents can also participate in the ritual to pass on their light and support.

My Story

Wedding officiant

Why do I officiate weddings?

It wasn’t anything major that led me to this. More like a quiet moment. Many times, I’ve stood at weddings with a camera in my hand, watching two people look at each other as if no one else were around. I realized that some moments simply can’t be captured on film. They’re meant to be lived.

Gradually, I realized that it’s not just the aesthetics, the atmosphere, or the emotions in the air that draw me to ceremonies. I’m fascinated when two people decide to do something deeply human—to walk through life together. And that someone can help them create that moment and hold it in their hands. Not as a bureaucrat. More like a guide who understands stories and feelings. I officiate because I enjoy seeking out what is true for those two people. Helping them create a moment that isn’t about clichés, but about their world.

“I draw on 16 years of experience observing human souls through the lens of a camera to create highly personalized wedding ceremonies that capture the true essence of every relationship.
I am a guide for deeply personal wedding ceremonies, rooted in the couples’ stories. I am the bridge between nervousness and calm, between the chaos of the day and that one firm “I do” that brings everything to a halt.”

My name is Leoš Brabec, and for the past 16 years I have been capturing wedding moments on camera and turning them into visual stories. My insight into the souls of newlyweds reached a point where I decided to transition from a passive observer to an active creator of wedding moments. I am currently studying at the Wedding Academy with the goal of becoming a certified wedding photographer.
